Do you shave the flakes in the shop? Yes. We shave the day's flakes on the counter every day. Freshly shaved, the aroma and sweetness are another thing entirely.
What is ito-kezuri (thread-cut)? Flakes drawn as fine as thread — our house handwork. Used as a fragrant, decorative finish on a dish.
Where can I find prices? Prices and stock vary by the day — please inquire at the counter.
What are your hours and closing days? 05:30–13:30. Closed Sundays, national holidays and market-closure days.
